Our Company

Landscape Collaborative is a family-owned and -operated garden maintenance and design-build company. Catherine Hanss Brownlee, who runs the business, is a Massachusetts Certified Horticulturist with a plant genetics background; she continues a legacy of beautifully built gardens established by her father, Robert Hanss. Our intention as a company is to build and maintain exceptional gardens, whether that be a small, intricately designed Japanese garden in Cambridge, or a series of rambling meadows and cut flower gardens in Concord. We believe strongly in creating and maintaining the vision, aesthetic, and health of our landscapes and have a deep-rooted knowledge of plants to support it.
